Aftercare

Fine lines heal in two to four weeks. How you treat them in that time decides how sharp they stay.

  1. The first day

    • Leave the clear film on for as long as we told you, usually until the next morning.
    • Then wash it gently with lukewarm water and a mild soap without perfume. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
  2. Days 2 to 14

    • Wash it twice a day and put on a very thin layer of balm. Thin: the skin should still breathe.
    • It will itch and flake a little. Don't scratch or pick it; the ink comes away with the flakes.
    • No swimming pools, sea, sauna or long baths. Short showers are fine.
  3. Weeks 2 to 4

    • The skin looks shiny, then normal again. Keep using balm when it feels dry.
    • Keep it out of strong sun. After it has healed, use sunscreen on it: fine lines fade fastest in the sun.

Red, hot, swollen or painful after the third day? Call us, and see a doctor if it gets worse.
