Aftercare
Fine lines heal in two to four weeks. How you treat them in that time decides how sharp they stay.
-
The first day
- Leave the clear film on for as long as we told you, usually until the next morning.
- Then wash it gently with lukewarm water and a mild soap without perfume. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.
-
Days 2 to 14
- Wash it twice a day and put on a very thin layer of balm. Thin: the skin should still breathe.
- It will itch and flake a little. Don't scratch or pick it; the ink comes away with the flakes.
- No swimming pools, sea, sauna or long baths. Short showers are fine.
-
Weeks 2 to 4
- The skin looks shiny, then normal again. Keep using balm when it feels dry.
- Keep it out of strong sun. After it has healed, use sunscreen on it: fine lines fade fastest in the sun.
